Aka-Piatto 80+/250 µm (and 120+/125 µm) are used for plane grinding of samples in sample holders, where a high material removal is needed.

Aka-Piatto+ has a higher diamond concentration than Aka-Piatto and is therefore less aggressive, which is well suited for brittle samples like ceramics, cermets and sintered carbides.
