Moran is a soft, woven wool cloth for polishing with diamonds from 6 – 3 µm. It can be used as a single polishing step with 3 µm or 2.5 µm diamond suspension on soft steels.

The open structure of Moran makes it excellent for polishing large samples uniformly.

Use medium forces; 15 – 25 N on a 30 mm sample.
