Optimal for plane grinding of samples with a hardness of 150 HV – 2000 HV.

Aka-Piatto 120+/125 µm is used for plane grinding samples in sample holders, where a large amount of material needs to be removed.

With a higher diamond concentration than Aka-Piatto, Aka-Piatto+ works more gently in the grinding step and is therefore better suited for brittle samples like, ceramics, cermets and sintered carbides than the normal Aka-Piatto.
